About us

Our company

Vesnic Ie was born in the Centenary year of the Great Union and has a historical and familly significance, being a relationship between great-grandparents and great-grandchildren. The romanian blouses are part of our romanian dowry that we want to pass on in time to future generations, but also in space to romanians from everywhere.

Vesnic Ie's romanian blouses are manually sewn with cotton or silk yarn and raised to the rank of art by paying attention to details, the carefulness and the mindfulness with which they are realized.

Our team

Our great-grandmother worked at Topoloveni Worker Co-operative Society, Arges county. From her we learned to sew on molten cloth the authentic Romanian motifs that have been transmitted from generation to generation: sewings like "The Sheepskin Waist", "The Dolls Mouth", "The Star in Eight Corners", "The Sheperd's Rod", flowers inspired from nature, and the pieces of sewn material we finish them using the "flea" sewing in the shape of small hearts.

Most stich patterns are made today from the memory, without boards and on our pages we share the popular naming and the significance of the reasons we sew.
